Why your site should load in under two seconds

People decide whether to stay on a page very quickly, and on a phone with a weak signal every extra request costs them time. A fast site is not a technical nicety; it is the first thing a visitor experiences about your brand.

Speed starts in design

Most slow sites were slow on the drawing board: a huge video in the first screen, five font files, a carousel nobody asked for. We set a budget for every page before we design it, so the ambitious ideas are the ones that fit.

What we do on every build

  • Serve modern image formats at the size the screen needs
  • Load only the fonts and weights the design uses
  • Keep motion on the GPU and pause it when it is off-screen
  • Test on a mid-range phone, not just a fast laptop

Rich does not have to mean slow

Every image on this site is served in a modern format at the size it is shown, and the motion stops when you scroll past or ask your device for reduced motion. That is the balance we aim for on every project: memorable, and still quick.
