What a six-week website project looks like

Most of our brand and website projects take about six weeks. That number is not a promise pulled from the air: it comes from doing the same steps in the same order, and from asking for the right things at the right time. Here is how those weeks usually go.

Week one: discover and define

We start with a call about your goals and a short workshop. We read your current site, your analytics if you have them, and the sites your customers compare you with. By the end of the week you have a written scope, a dated plan and the few numbers we will use to judge success.

Weeks two and three: design

We show two or three directions early, before anything is polished, and choose one with you. Then we design the key pages and build the design system behind them: type, colour, spacing and components. You see progress every week, never a big reveal at the end.

Weeks four and five: build

We build the real site, connect the CMS and forms, and test on actual phones and tablets. This is when we need your content: final copy, photos and any legal pages. If you would rather we write it, that is part of the plan from week one.

Week six: launch

We launch behind a checklist covering speed, redirects, tracking, accessibility and security, then watch the first days closely. You get a short guide and a training call so your team can edit everything without us.

What can stretch the timeline? Mostly content arriving late and feedback rounds that grow. Both are easy to plan for once you know they are coming.
